7:00pmMeet the Author: Michelle Diskin BatesWOLLASTON BAPTIST CHURCH presents Meet the Author: Michelle Diskin Bates On Friday 9th November at 7pm. STAND AGAINST INJUSTICE is the untold story of one family’s fight for justice. Michelle’s brother, Barry George, was wrongfully convicted of the 1999 murder of Jill Dando, the much loved BBC presenter. Eight years later he was cleared of the crime but still lives everyday under the shadow of Miscarriage of Justice. He has never received compensation for his wrongful incarceration. Michelle, a member of Wollaston Baptist Church, will be signing books after her presentation which starts promptly at 7:30pm. All are welcome and books will be available on the night at the discounted price of just £8.00. RRP £9.99 Refreshments available.
Saturday 10th November 2018 9:30amIS THERE SUCH A THING AS A ‘NORMAL’ CHRISTIAN LIFE ?An opportunity to spend a few hours exploring what God has accomplished in Jesus Christ, and how we can be sure that we are living in the benefits of it . The foundations: Repentance from sin and dead works, Exercising faith toward God, The meaning of baptism in water, The reality of baptism in Holy Spirit, Present and future judgement. Understanding and experiencing what it means to enter into rest and to walk in the Spirit, as we live a life where the Kingdom of God is our priority, and we are fully surrendered to God and His purposes. SATURDAY 10th NOVEMBER 9.30am – 4.30pm Wollaston Baptist Church The day will be led by Joe Story Drinks will be provided during the day but please bring a packed lunch. There is no charge for the day but it would be helpful if you could let us know beforehand if you are interested in coming by emailing story.joe@gmail.com or office@wollastonchurch.plus.com
